Built on a Simple Belief
True North Barbershop opened its doors in 2018 with a straightforward idea: that a great haircut should feel like a tradition, not a transaction. Our founder, James Chen, learned his trade from his uncle in Vancouver before moving east to establish something of his own.
The early days were modest. One chair, one barber, and word of mouth. But quality speaks for itself. Within two years, the shop expanded, and the team grew to include some of the finest barbers in the city.
